Only have one virus scanner installed at a time. We've found this program will run on older computers that may not be able to handle off-the-shelf virus scanners. If you have another anti-virus program installed that you do not wish to use, please uninstall it before installing AVG Free. Remember to check for updates frequently and run a complete scan at least once per week. You should also scan any downloaded files before opening or running them.
